Anyone using RE AUDIO RE10 subs?

I saw that these are going for around $120-140 shipped for a pair and the specs look decent. What are they comparable too? They have a real low fs of 21Hz, do they have the output to really play the lows that well? I'm looking at getting (2) possibly sealed. My friend was also curious as well, they look like a great buy, but I'd like some real world feedback as specs don't tell the whole story.

Thanks

some on an online store..couple places on ebay selling them as well..

They're great low powered subs that will have low end authority.

With their low Fs and relatively low Qts, they can swing either ported or sealed. My guess is they would really shine in ported though.

They are re audio's bottom line subs, but i must say for the $ they are very good subs! I have sold over 60 of these woofers with 0 problems.
What are they comparable to? Would they be close to my 10W3v2 or between that and a older 10W1? I have always had great luck with JL but want to try something different. Everyone has JL around here, or Rockford, MMATS, Alpine, etc.

Now that I look at the specs, they seem closer to the older W6 with the xmax but with less rated rms power handling. I'm trying to keep my space trunk high the the box footprint as small as possible so thats why I was thinking 2 sealed 10's.

despite the fact that i worked at a RE dealer AND have a RE 10 and a RE 8 still new in there boxes, ive never hurd one. ive hurd 10,12,15" SRs and they are wonderfull. we put a SR 10 in a sealed box for the boss in his van with 400watt and it spanked pretty hard, and had good bottem end. i have a SR12 for the wifes truck that was in my truck on 300watts ported and it sounded very nice, but i wish i had more power at the time so it would have had more out put.

ive hurd every line of RE subs except for the MT, and they all performed very well in there classes, and i would say exceading most subs in there respective class of subs.

RE = W1, Type E, Punch 1 etccccc

SR = W3, Type S, Punch 3 and what not

SE = W6, Type R etcccc

SX = Power T1

MX = im gonna say it, W7, Type X

XXX = do i realy have to say anything. the lows on this thing are un goddly!
