****, that is dirt cheap! Never heard of em, but I wanna hear back from someone that has, and how they worked out.Anyone tried this guy yet 215 for 200 amp alts seems overly cheap lol200Amp
Yeah thats what I was thinking. The regular replacement cost on my stock was 147. Hoping they are a new company building rep and not garbage and thats the only way they can sell them lol****, that is dirt cheap! Not really that much cheaper than Mechman..one of the best for car audio. $300 for a 250a from the folks above, or $450 for a mechman 270a. Compare the idle amperage - Motor City 250 = 120a at idle. Mechman 270 = 160a at idle..Performance and Quality wise, you can get so much more for just a few bucks more....and we are not even comparing EA, Ohio, DC, etc.Anyone tried this guy yet 215 for 200 amp alts seems overly cheap lol200Amp
$150 isn't exactly a few bucks, but when it comes to an alternator and what you described (8-12's @ 4k) I wouldn't cheap out and gamble on a $200 alt. Mechman is a proven quality alternator, as well as the other quacks mentioned.. Especially cuz that idle output probably drops significantly on the M.C.R.Not really that much cheaper than Mechman..one of the best for car audio. $300 for a 250a from the folks above, or $450 for a mechman 270a.
