anyone seen the mini computer in the verizon commercial?

well its not my computer but i havent downloaded one theing all i want to be able to do is...

surf the net, watch youporn and download songs for my mp3 player.

the verizon one comes with verizon internet service

the others you need to be on wifi or have a lan cable hooked to it

just get a laptop for $200 more

also I dont know if all the browsers on the mini laptops have full flash/adobe/etc

yeah thats the only other thing. i want to be able to use the wireless internet i have here at the house and like when i go to hotels.... so what price range am i looking at from any make or model???

i only asked about the verizon one cuz i like the price...

Some of the acer one's have windows XP on them, so yes they have full browers. Hell I played WOW on my acer one while my desktop was down.

I can't speak for other netbooks but the acer one is an awesome little comp, plus you can get them with a regular harddrive instead of a solid state. Solid state is cool if the drive is made by a reputable company, which most of the ones in netbooks aren't.

Im sure they all come with a "full browser" I don't know where that came from, but a lot of them aren't windows based. They have some form of linux installed. So if you want windows you need to pay attention to what you buy.

Does it actually say it doesn't have regular wireless built in? I would be surprised if you HAD to use the vierizon net.

As far as which is better windows or linux, its personal preference. If you've never used linux before you could find yourself a little lost. But it uses less resources and is more secure.
