Just bought mag last night for ps3, it seems ok, not near as good as mw2, anyone else have any insight?

Was gonna get but since Socom 4 was announced, and it's made by zipper, the same people who made the orginal version, that's what Im waiting on. I've heard that the MAG community is getting big. But I'm a socom guy...

mag is great, cant see how you could like mw2 better honestly. it kills mw2. guess maybe you havent played it enuff. not saying this is you but many cod heads dont understand that mag is not so much of a run and gun game as much as a team based game. i have a character on all 3 factions. made with 3 dif psn accounts. not into trophys so instead of veterening i went that way. all 3 of my guys are level 60. you want to run with a good group let me know or just add me. here are my 3 sn's

few tips, i could better help you by playing in a group.

1. get your med kit with res asap.

2. machine gun is best for starting out

3. play is better with a good group

I bought it last night so I did the trainings and the "suppression" missions/training, it just seems like I have to shoot someone 5-6 times to kill them, when I die I can either bleed out and wait 15 seconds to "re-spawn" or wait there and hope a medic revives me, and if I bleed out I get sent all the way back to the base and have to run back to the fighting. Modern warfare 2 just seems like a better game to me, i'm hoping its just that I haven't played mag a lot, only for an hour or so last night.

yea you havent played much and in supression alot of other noobs are there also and dont have res capabilities yet. you have a mic i hope? proximity chat is aweome man, you can talk to nearby team mates and opponents. so you can talk smack to a guy your about to kill or just killed. this game has dedicated server unlike mw2 which is hosted, mw2 has no medic abilities, no proximity chat, only can use one gun attatchment unless you use a perk, when in a group you play against the same people over and over. most mw2 games are 12 players 6v6. im sure i can think of more if i thought more about it.

i think its just what your used to like alot of people, just starting out in mag is kind of overwehlming i admit and when i first started out in the beta it didnt seem that great at first but once i played it for a while it started growing on me fast. seemed like once i hit level 30 or so and started meeting people and playing in groups it was on. add me to your friends man i will show you the ropes. just fyi im a bid knifer, i have 80 or more melee ribbons on my raven character. love my motion sensor and sensor jammer. what pmc are you with now?
