Anyone on here drive a BMW?

Uhhh, considering my BMW has FWD...............
Though I do love the new 6's
LOL
audi > bmw IMO

4-wheel drive FTMFW plus their look are meaner than beemer IMO
lol you mean AWD dude? thats what BMW Xi's are.

Audi and bmw both have AWD but good try. My first car was a 96 a6 and I loved it but I would take a bwm over it any day
cant bean BMW handling AND the fact that besides the newer stuff is a lot more reliable since most bmw's are N/A fi.

I would agree with u to a point...
I would say with Audi you would end up spending a little less money on repairs and stuff, and I honestly am in LOVE with A4s/S4s/RS4s. I also like the interior of Audi's a little more than BMW's. To this day I still wish I had a 98ish audi a4 1.8T 5 speed all black... to each his own though.

That being said, you really can't beat a nice m3 or a really clean modded 3 series.
audis need to be repaired way more than bmw's. not saying bmw's are reliable or anything but for the most part BMW>audi repair wise.

now its different for a higher end like 7 series. have fun repairing those beasts.

nothing like BMW handling though

yeah cant argue there, i rarly needed repairs on my audi but compared to my buddys 96 bmw 328 I payed way more for the same parts when I had the audi
as long as you take car of a car they will be reliable. non Fi audis are reliable and great winter cars since quattros are AWD

anyone know a good site to purchase performance and exterior mods from?
my sponsor is http://www.euro-spec.net

u can try modbargains.com

jlevisw.com

desertmotorworks.com

ect ect.

check out E46fanatics.com

you can find everything you possibly need there

yea i know the xi is bmw's awd... but i dont think any M series have a awd options, compared to the rs4 , rs6, where they shine... as daily driving sport car...

m3...dopest handling car on the road...not including porshe. they dont come in all wheel drive. i dont know too much about the rs4 and rs6 but as for an m3, 333hp with top of the line handling takes an rs4 any day. m5 and m6 are a differesnt story, those puppies are near 500hp stock. ridiculous speed.

lol, it doesnt take an rs4 any day... at all. you dunno what really an rs4 can do.

and for everyone that has repair problems.. DIY. saved me thousands
x2.

I just sold my B5 S4 and DIY saved my ***. It was a 2000 with 122K on it. Car was amazing day in and day out, and with New England winters, quattro dominated. 400 ft./lb. in winter with AWD FTW!!!! But, it required a lot of maintenance. Finding boost leaks was a *****. Parts weren't too bad if purchased online. Stealerships **** teh balls for bigger / more expensive parts, great for small shit.

My wife had a 95 3 series as well. I will say that German cars are very easy to work on. Between our two cars, I changed axles, CV joints, shocks / struts, installed new suspensions, chips, exhausts, downpipes, etc.. Very easy to do and very intuitive.

Invest in some good basic hand tools (pneumatic if you can afford it), a good jack and stands, and Bentley manuals.
