I could probably post pics of gen vs. rep side-by-side and you'd probably pick the correct one 50% of the time.

The submariners are just about dead-on, only very minor issues (crown guards slightly mis-shaped, dial lumination not as good as gen, etc) are the difference aside from the movement....which is impossible to replicate because that itself costs about $1500-2000. Those issues can be fixed with aftermarket mods though if you really want to get into it, but they're not cheap.

The "double-red" seadweller is a pretty easy replica to spot by someone who knows what they're talking about (though 99.9% of people have no idea) because there's only about 20 known to still exist and they'd be about 20-30 years old now and show some aging. Still a very nice watch though if you don't care about that.
