It's alright. I lived in IA, and it's peaceful but NOTHING like a city life. Iowa City is a bit better, more life there.. but still tremendously different than NJ for me.

I went to school there for 2 years... the party scene there is crazy. Lots of cool bars, but with that there is also the frat/douchebag guys as well. Lots of hot poontang. Apartments/houses near downtown can get pretty pricey plus parking sucks as well. Overall its a pretty cool town. I'd say if you're not going to school there then don't bother with the overpriced shit near downtown, get something in Coralville, which is basically the only suburb of Iowa City.

my friend works at budcat there as a tester so if i did move we'd be sharing a place, but idk if i will be able to or not..

I don't live there but in Cedar Rapids, just north of their but I spend a lot of time there. It's a pretty cool town. It has a lot of things that bigger cities have with somewhat of the feel of a smaller time. I deliver their in a semi for work and the traffic can be a ***** but the bar scene is great downtown and the mall is solid. It a pretty solid town to live in.

My dads buddy owns the wig & pen on the border of coralville/iowa city. They have a little bus that takes you to and from the football games before the game and during halftime. Their pizza is definitely FTW.

Like everyone else the party scene is great and I find the sporting events to be much more spiritied than in Lincoln.

nowai...i couldnt imagine anything better than lincoln on a big gameday lol...

There is not much real tailgating in Lincoln. Plus I hate all the blue hairs at the game. I much prefer the more college atmosphere in Iowa City.

true...i would be for sure moving if walmart would let me transfer but a friend that used to work at walmart just told me that you have to work there for 6 months before being eligible for a transfer
