I don't care what color he is, I'm not voting for a socialist pig dog....
Not sure who I'll be voting for, I'm sure when it comes down to it I'll have to vote for Giuliani... (Hilary vs Giuliani seems the most likely scenario).. as much as it pains me to vote for someone who is pro gun control, it's better than that flaming lunatic Hillary...

Obama is a Swahili(African) name. His religion is Church of Christ. I thought Muslim when I heard it as well.
Personally I am for Giuliani.

He was raised muslim from what I hear... it doesn't really bother me, American politics will rip the religion out of any body... Just like I doubt Mitt Romney is all that strong of a Mormon (just unlikely, I don't know anything about him)

Of course that leaves McCain (shudder) and Mitt Romney, I haven't had a chance to check Romney's platform but he doesn't stack well in 1vs1 against any of the 3 likely democratic primary winners...

Presidents have little to do with economics.... The congress has control over fiscal policy and the Federal Reserve controls the monetary policy. Of course they do put forth budgets but they get hacked up by the congress before it goes into effect unless the congress is friendly (ie Bush's Tax Cuts)...

Honestly, what did Giuliani do duing 9/11? He did what his publicist told him to do. It was the police, and firefighters that were the heroes of that day and everyone in the city and across the country knows that. IMO, its Giuliani thats riding the coat-tails of the real heroes of that day...

If I knew he'd simply let things be as they are I'd vote for him but if he was pro Clinton's "Assault Rifle" ban then he's not getting my primary vote (even though I have no primary vote, in Oregon independents can't vote in primaries)... that ban was pointless and when it sunset it didn't hurt anyone...

I think Condolezza is a little too classy to run on a platform of "I'm black and I'm a chick, vote for me"... she's had an amazing career and I'd likely vote for her but I'd need to see a full platform before I committed... that being said I don't think she's running in '08...

i think its way too early to cast your votes. you should be more than just digging up skeletons that the news alerts you to. you should be doing your own research. there are always enough legitimate complaints about a canidate that you shouldn't have to rely on the news making some up. and watching the news doesn't count as research. surely doesn't qualify you as an educated and balanced voter.

Presidents do have enonomic power.. I doubt Congress unamously decided to go to war.. Bush was and still is pro war! Now we are 400 BILLION dollars in the hole and jobs are still being lost everday! We struggle to put gas in our vehicles while our enemies burn their refineries just to spite us.. Gas is 40cents per gallon in the middle east!! and all we are doing is killing our soldiers and pulling our brave into foreign countries away from their families
