anyone know where i would look to get an amp repaired?

honestly ive never had an amp repaired and im not sure what can or cannot be fixed...i was running my ap 3000d on half gain with everything else set low too...it randomly shut off and smoke poured through my whole car. if anyone knows if this can be fixed can you please let me know?

Audiopipe repairs there own amps iirc. Or try dbr but I'm not sure if they repair audiopipe

Sounds like the amp may be HISTORY!! Blown Mosfets possibly?? Some Computer repair shops/repairmen locally may be able to.I had an individual on the bay repair 2 of my amps,was a bit expensive,but.. worth every penny.Try locals first.. some audio shops can recommend.If you like the amp,and dont want to lay it down to rest..Its worth looking in to getting it back to working order????

take the cover off the back and take pics. the real deciding factor if it is repairable, is the condition of the board, mostly. best prices i have seen, really, are right off the forums. there is a few on here, and another forum, and i generally don't have time to take some of that on. there are a few more popular shops, but the best bet is someone whoe does just amps, not a computer, or general electronics shops..... sometimes you can find a decent stereo repair shop that will be good, but generally, electronics/computer shops are setup for different sort of repairs, and priced for the industrial side, which can get real pricey

I looked for a long time. All I found was aampofamerica.com. I found it via the Phoenix Gold website. They'll look at it for $35 and apply that to the repair if you have it fixed. Pricing is flat rate on repairs depending on the make and model. Ask em... couldn't hurt.
