Anyone know what DMM reads on cvr's?

Tried searching all I find is someone saying to touch the DMM's probes together and subtract that # from the actual reading of the coils.

My DMM reads .3 when I touch the probes together. Each coil on my 4 ohm Kicker cvr reads 3.7

Just seems like I should ADD the numbers together and that would be 4.0 ohms.

Which is correct? to ADD or Subtract the numbers? What are these coils suppose to read on a DMM?

Can't believe these are still good. I had thought I burnt these coils up w/ careless gain treatment. I wanna take out the alpines and put the cvr's in my new box until I get a bigger amp.

3.7 seems normal for 4 ohm coils. The chance of finding true 4 ohm coils is extremely rare.
