So everyone I know has RF subs and they keep trying to pull me in. They think they since they are expensive they are better, sadly these people tell me to not do a big 3 and just to buy a cap. I was telling a friend to let me help him put an amp in his car but he insisted on going to bestbuy and letting them do it.

the cap has to be charged by the alternator that can't keep up in the first place. seems fairly clear to me.

They don't listen not matter what I say. The kid who was told to have the "greatest system" in my school had a RF T2 15 and a crossfire 15. I later told them thats completely stupid mainly because of the two different subs that and they were in two different boxes. Sadly..my 15" Fi BL blew everyone away.

I'm no audiophile or install expert, but I picked up a few things just by doing the research, reading audio forums, reading reviews, etc., and I can tell you one thing I'll never let any shop do an install on my car, I'll probably let an experienced person build me a box, or do some fiberglass work for me, that's about it. I think I can manage alot of stuff on my own and get more enjoyment out of doing it myself. I don't buy equipment solely based on price or what my boy thinks about it
