anyone know the 1/2 wave theory formula?

nice thats what i got too. i did.25 and .5 wave theory. 3/4 would be like 120 htz or so lol

for .25 wave theory i did 1130/39 = 28.97

then 28.97 x .25 and got 7.24 ft.

thats close enough for me

 
tuneing to 78 would put you at the zero pressure, zero velocity part of the wave i think.the highest pressure is at the 1/4 and 3/4 points and the highest velocity is right before a cross over point between a crest and a trough(sorry i cant spell for sh1t).its been a while since i done any looking in to of this kind if design so i may very well be wrong.

 
I'm not sure you'll get the results you want, I see it more possible that even though you design the box perfectly to your half or 1/2 wave specs, the actual behavior of it will be that of a 1/4 design using the length of your vent as 1/4 of the full wavelength not 1/2 because you want it to. I may be entirely wrong though.
