anyone know of someone that recones kicker solobarics?

does anyone know a place/person that repairs kicker solobaric subwoofers? i have a 12L7 thats needing a recone. local places cant get parts because kicker "stoped repairing them" but you still see refurbished ones selling i called kicker and tried to have it repaired they turned me down saying they no longer fix their subs and they would sell me a new one for $300 after i sent in my old one in lol...i guess they figured they could get more money by makin me buy a new one then get my old ones fixed....but i dont have the $300 to spend. so if anyone knows of someone or somewhere that recones solobarics please help me out. thanks

You cant get it done....sorry bro....you need the new raw cones and coils from kicker and they're not going to sell you them.

right... its not in Kicker's best interest to sell you recone parts for 50 or even 100 when they can try to sell you a whole sub for 300.

Kicker sells the recones to dealers.

They're talking about recone kits, not reconed subs.

You can call kicker and get an RMA number, and send it to them, and they will recone it for you.

Actually, and depending on how new it is, and under warrenty or not, they may jsut send you a new one, then recone yours, and send it to someone to sell.

kicker wont fix customers subs anymore. if its under warranty they send u a new one...and mine isnt under warranty unless one of you guys has a reciept i could use haha
