I have been lurking in AVS a bit, they all seem like uppity *******.

they treat people who want to run $200 receivers the same way we treat people who want to run Pyramid speakers

$200 is nothing in home audio

they are tired of people coming in asking

"how can I make my HTIB sound like im at the movie theater?

just as we are tired of people wanting to make their legacy amp "make" 3600 watts like the top of the amp says

It isn't the same because someone, like me, who has over 2 grand into an A/V system that would be considered "Pyle" in the car audio world is no comparison. A basic Pyle setup wouldn't cost you 2 grand. A "low end" audio video setup takes a significant amount of money, a car audio one doesn't. So you can't act like someone is stupid garbage when they only have 1000$ dollars to spend on speakers.
