Airsoft it for pussies. Man up and play paintball.

There's no paintball stuff up here and with so many forested areas (i.e. my backyard lol) it's really better suited for airsoft rather than paintball. Airsoft seems a lot more casual which is cool when you decide to get together with some friends at night and play a few rounds in the dark.

We use bb guns now. No shooting above the chest.

With a decent gun you can shoot straight up to around 100ft or so, but the rest mainly is just drop off from gravity. Most of it is close quarters for the most part since there are a lot of trees around here.

If I were just getting started and not very serious I would grab one of these:

G&G Blowback M4

Good reliability, very easy to modify/upgrade, readily available parts, and fairly inexpensive.

Now if you are looking for all of those PLUS actual full metal construction, you are going to be looking to spend a little more.
