Time for a vacation....

I was referring to that particular venue...

I just got back home from the WMC a couple weeks ago. I had a great time and took part in doing some good events. Chesterfield Hotel and Chelsea Hotel with Blue Iguana Music, Metropolis for World of Drumn Bass, SoHo Lounge for the ViRam Party, and surprisingly enough, The Laundry Bar up off Lincoln for a couple parties.

I'll be back in Miami soon enough...I'd guess in a little over a month depending on what dates I can book.

Yeah I've heard about it, just never gone. I try to avoid most places around SoBe if I can help it...I like the downtown scene better. Do you do events often? I'll come check one out if I'm ever around at the same time...

Yeah, I hear ya about SoBe. I prefer Downtown and the Grove. It's more laid back.

This is actually his first show. I am working on getting in Metropolis and a few other venues. This is really just something to get his name out and heard, before we release his CD in a couple of months. The manage of the club is going to be hosting a showcase, inviting different record labels and radio execs, so I want Lcity to be one the the performers for that show.

Good deal. I stayed in the Grove a few years back...loved it. I even hit up the convention center for a flea market! My redneck friend walked out with one of those huge illuminated moving picture things...he says he got a deal but I claim he got ripped off. You couldn't pay me to get one of those things...hah.

Anyway, good luck with your music stuff. And if you get into Metropolis for an event, let me know...its a dope spot. Pretty much worth a trip down IMO.

btw...what part of Miami do you live in?

Lakes by the Bay about 25 minutes South of Miami. I'm moving into Pinecrest in a few months.

I'm trying to get a show at Metropolis for Memorial Weekend. That would be pretty sweet. I'll keep you posted.
