anyone in here from kentucky or fished the cumberland?

I aint been out there in a couple months but the fishing wasnt too good cause wolf creek **** is leaking and theyve got the water level down so low.
ya i read about this.. so far we have a trout guide for a full day plus.. do a little fly fishing on howards bend or w.e and thats where we plan possibly the stripers too...

just trying to find some other places besides howards to fish.. i know 85 miles from that **** is all trout water so.. ya thats a lot to fish and was just curious what the best parts are to wade.. thanks in advance man..

let me correct myself again, I dunno shit about the land nor water.. hahahah, good luck with hotels there, there is one in Whitley City, the second one burned down. Somerset probably has hotels, so does Corbin, but those are a while away. We stayed at Blue Heron, there is a little hotel in Stearns by the railroad museum, and its about 20 minutes away from the gravel road that runs from Monticello to whatever other road in the middle of nowhere it is. All up and down the road there are pulloffs with campfire spots and creek access where you can camp for free.
