Anyone here day trade?

I'm thinking about day trading as a hobby. I figure if i'm gonna sit at a computer during my free time i might as well make a few bucks (or lose a few lol). Any tips or helpful resources to get me started? Or will i be in too far over my head...

If you have the wit to do it, go for it. Just don't use the money you were going to pay your bills with, start out with extra money. But I don't think I have the financial or mathematical wit to keep up.

If, however, the number of day-trades is more than 3 but is 6% or less than the total number of trades that trader has made for that five business day period, the trader will not be considered a pattern day trader and they will not be required to meet the criteria for a pattern day trader.

It's basically like gambling if your uninformed.
