As we all know 99-02 silverado's do not fit double din radios. Easy way around this is to buy an 03+ dash bezel that fits Double dins, just have to do some minor cutting. I just bought the bezel last night and now the guy is trying to get me to buy the cage that goes inside the dash that goes around the AC unit and Head unit for the 03+ models. This sounds like a great idea and would seem like you would not have to cut anything? Basically turning your dash into a 03+, so should just pop in without any cutting I would think. Has anyone tried this? Or should I just stick to the bezel and just cut up the cage? Or give it a shot? Let me know what you think. Thanks.
