Anyone heard of Bass Mekanik by US Amps?

i have a friend that use to have 2 12" of these and they sounded good in a ported box i believe. I'm just wanting to know if anyone else has heard them personally and what would they compare them to?

my buddy has three of them and they are real nice, pretty efficient, kind of like my old American Bass VFL's. I wouldnt pay alot alot for them but they are nice.

I was bidding on them on ebay but didn't win. Last seconds came up and out of nowhere 4 other people started bidding. They sound really nice but i don't know what other subs they would compare to. Since these are rare and some have said that they are collectibles....i'd rather get something that would compare to them.
