well seeing as how command and conquer is sweet, i'll try halo wars.

and isn't that the basis of all games? all fps games are fps games, with different characters and levels and blahblahblah...

I've been playing FPS games on the PC competetively since 99'. The competetive play what keeps me going with out gettin bored really quick. Anyone here play CAL, TGL, or TWL?

see the problem is everybody *****ed when there were power weapons in h2 about it being too unbalanced. so bungie made it more balanced. you can still do some major damage to a team with the sword, rockets, shotgun,or spartan laser if you are really good. and if you are playing a ranked game your level does go down if you do shitty. other than that i agree 100%, and yes cod4 is so boring now i have no desire to turn it on again. anybody wanna buy it??

i hate my 360. i use it as little as possible. too loud and it makes my whole house hot. It puts off too much heat. I love my PS3 though. blueray, built-in WIFI you dont have to pay for, free web brouser, free online gaming, its quiet and it stays cool.

COD4 > anything Bungie will put out this year...

and yet...cod4 is still trash of a game, i play it all the time but its nothing special. (im also talking about for competitive gaming not just your average play through single player and shoot the odd guy online)

you must still have one of the first gen systems. mine was replaced after my first one (that got hot, loud, etc) and it stays silent and runs 100 times better than my original. run urs non stop for like 2 days until it gives you the red ring and have it replaced haha

Halo 3 and CoD4 are to totally different games and incomparable.

i have put good hours in both games

H3= lvl 50 in 2 play lists. Halo 3 is a game that requires skill in accuracy and adjusting to the games physics (grenades for example)

CoD4= 8th prestige in 10 gameplay days. CoD4, i did not enjoy this game at all. i just destroyed kids at it. CoD4 DOES NOT require skill. grenades kill 2 easy, claymores are glitchy, stopping power, jugganoob and martydumb = kills w/o skill. And the starting lvl guns (M16, Mp5 M40 (sniper) are way to over powered and easy to get kills with. The only thing CoD4 requires is the ability to outsmart your opponent

the verdict for gaming X360>PS3 no competition stupid PS3 fanboys dont try to argue its pointless and ignorant

the 2nd verdict H3= fun experience, big let down from H2. People hate it because they **** (CoD4 fanboys)

CoD4 = Too easy, ppl who **** at halo play it so they can kill other people that **** at H3

edit: CoD4 was a vast improvement from CoD3 which SUCKED

eh, no clue dont play consoles and i would imagine on the consoles your 100 percent right, cod4 is more of a lets pick up the controller and play for a bit game, where h3 has a more dedicated user base i am sure.
