Anyone hear of this band?

Rocco DeLuca and the Burden.

Was channel surfing the other night and caught just half a song and have to say I have never been intrigued by a band so much. They then played it later that night and I caught the whole thing. Have to say I am amazed at the amount of talent that this guy has, not to mention his band is good too, but Rocco just has that it factor. I am still baffled why he is not bigger, but the music industry is funny.

If anyone watches Rocdoc's on VH1 you might have caught them. I am heading out tomorrow to purchase their album. Funny thing is it has been out almost a year, but they just got put on vh1 a few months ago and now are touring as of now. I am gonna go to the Cleveland show in april. Cant wait, one of my new favorite bands.

Just picked up the album and have to say one of the best purchases I have made music wise in a long time. Very good if you like rock/blues/alternative.

im listening to the songs on myspace and it sounds good, i like it. Im gonna go buy the cd //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I get tired of the "new" music out now a days, it all sounds the same to me. I guess thats why I listen to my Genesis/Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Boston, Talking Heads etc more then the new music. Most of the music I listen to was made before I was even around(1983 baby here) but I like it better. And most of the radio statoions around here are Rap and i hate it. I like some of the old school stuff(Biggie, some others) but I like this cd.

Meh, they'll be in denver in a month.Even though it's only $18 to see them, I doubt I'll go.Not really into that kind of music though.

"Some" of my favorite bands are local bands, who aren't big at all.

No problem. I know what you mean looking for new music. It just kinda hit me when I seen them on vh1 and was like wow look at that, Kiefer Sutherland came up with a label and signed these guys, so caught my attention. Then after the first song I heard, I was hooked. Never been moved by music so much. Guy to me just has the it factor and I am still baffled why they are not bigger. I guess they are just very different.

I know he actually likes that in Rocco cause he really dosent like the big media attention and shit. So in a way, I hope they stay small, but I will always support them.

Also if your old school like me as well, then check out goverment mule. Very good cover band that plays a lot of older rock music. Peace!

Yeah, I didnt think I would be either, but I actually enjoy their music quite a bit. I always say though, different strokes for different folks.

I will be going in April to see them when they come to Hard Rock in Cleveland. Cant wait!
