try a pawn shop?
.... hmm i didnt even consider that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif forgot they existed.... after realizing i payed 2x retail price for my first amp used from a pawn shop i kinda shunned them.

I will never buy power tools from HF again. I went through too many pieces of crap too fast.

Honestly, with power tools, if you plan on using them for awhile... Spending a little extra cash will be worth it. Just check some tool stores for sales. What will you be using the tools for mostly? Just box building?

yeah, and maybe to build a front deck.... next summer project for me and my stepdad...

check harbor freight for clamps and hand tools, just don't get any of the clamps with plastic on them, they're worthless, like said before though, spend a little more on good quality power tools, the buffer, circular saw, and drill I got from there are all worthless.

off to work bump... really need some good clamps.. if anyone would link me some... thatd be great. or list some good brand name? maybe some i could find locally? i have access to some but dont wanna have to go to friends house everytime i build... haha.

Agreed on the harbor freight clamps. No reason to spend 15 bucks a piece at home depot. 5 bucks a pop for the metal ones (the plastic ones are junk) My 17 dollar jigsaw from HF has been going strong for a while but I don't tax it too hard.
