Anyone have a g6 with the monsoon 3-way speakers?

Trying to find a future set to get but I can't seem to figure out the sizes of the 3-way system in the front doors of my 07 G6 GTP coupe. Also, looking for a good set probably in the $2-350 range. I really wanted boston acoustics but I cant seem to find a 3-way set. Also took a look at the image dynamics set but they were about $500. Building a sq system, will have a 10" fi Q with an audioque 1200 amp.

Would it be better to piece each of the speakers seperately or buy a set that has all 3 speakers and the crossovers together. Thanks.

'07 came with the 3.6L, correct? I'm looking on metraonline.com right now for their speaker fit guide. It's not showing me a 3way system up front? It's ust showing 6.5s in the doors and 1.5" tweets.

Yea, thats my problem. I can't seem to find anything on the three way. I clearly have a woofer down low, a mid and then a tweet up in the top on the door panel. I keep getting different sizes up front (6 1/2, 5 1/4, 6 3/4) but nothing for mids. Figured I would ask here to see if anyone would know while I continue on looking online.

I found a set on ebay: dls c36 3 way component system. I noticed other dls systems on the elemental design site but not the c36. Is this an older series, and if so are they any good for $240 bucks?

Monsoon are good speakers but their company went out of business, why do you want to replace them, are they blown or something?

The factory Monsoon system has factory EQs built into the factory amp for those speakers, if you only replace the speakers then it'll probably sound really weird, or in other words not what DLS has intended their speakers to sound like, not to mention the impedance might not match. You'll need to replace the factory radio, bypass the factory amp, install a new headunit & amplifier & new speakers to justify spending $250~350 on just a set of component sets.

I am replacing all the speakers and bypassing the amp as well. They are fine now but I can hear some distortion and one of my speakers in the rear has a slight rattle, and I've always been into very nice sounding speakers. was hoping to use the stock headunit because it has an information display that I like and I want it to look factory. Would I sacrifice sound quality by using the factory headunit and running a LOC from the factory amp wiring?

Well I wouldn't have posted this if I wanted to do that, lol. I'd prefer to not take them off unless I had to but it looks like I will have to be taking them off. I always ****** at taking door panels off but have gotten better so hopefully this one will go smoothly.
