Anyone have a degree in marketing??

Right now I'm in the middle of getting my Marketing degree and I'm not sure what industry I want to use my marketing degree in. One of my cousins friends has a marketing degree and works in the medical field and he makes 6 figures and he's only been doing it for a couple years...

Anyways for those that already have degree in marketing what type of company do you work for and what's your job title?

Getting my MBA in finance with a minor in marketing. I hope to work for a drug company like Pfizer or GlaxoSmithKline. As for what industry you work in, my advice is to think about what is going to be needed in the years to come, and work from there.

graduate - economics

Everyone I know with a marketing degree ended up in sales. Folks with a mass communications degrees end up in marketing....shrug

For some reason, I didn't think you were a Marketing guy. I knew NJMustang was, when I argued with him about how finance > marketing.

A small suggestion.

Find an industry that interests you to choose as the field where you apply your degree.

You'll be a happier person in the end.

my gf is a marketing major and is going into the pharmaceutical sales field......sounds like a good career imo.
