It is simple, but here is a warning.

When i loaded it it automatically found all my pics and videos and added them to the zune library.... including ****.

I dont really want **** on my Zune.

Something about Mountain Goats or something like that.

I wouldn't mine **** on my zune, but I have none on the computer. I just look at it in various forums, and I perfer literature much more to pictures/movies.

You don't have to convert MP3s to load them on a zune.
Also i have been ripping CDs all morning with the zune software and it isn't slow. Maybe it's your dads PC that is slow.

i agree i only have one problem is that the zune player on my computer wont play the movies i have on my computer and u cant load them to the zune but im pretty sure the same thing happens with ipods and itunes(itunes is the slowest program ever)

Let me understand this:

I can copy CDs I currently own to mp3 using whatever compression I want.

Can I use my existing content? Because creative is ghey, I had to copy songs downloaded from Rhapsody to a CD and then rip. Is that a mp3?

I can take a look-see at the files. How do I know if they will work.

This mp3 is too much of a hassle. I guess I have to keep buying CDs instead of legally downloading them off the net

yeah.. i think you have to convert all video to wmv and that does ****.

But i dont really want it for video anyways.
