I think I still got my old one somewheres. If I find it you can have it. Its doesnt read the discs, i think the lazer is bad or something.

if you mean brand, they should all swap in so it really won't matter. the newer the better though.

the HDD will not swap in, but the DVD drive should. thats the 360 you're thinking of me thinks. as far as i remember (90% sure) the drives should be interchangeable. it's been a little while though. and 1 of the 2 is modded
