You pay for it...but you're like 97% guarenteed a job once you're outa there or almost ready to leave.

Three of my friends went to Lincoln Tech... which is sorda like that I guess. They hated it and dropped out after a year.

my friend is going there now and will be finished by summer, he's obtaining the exact degree you're thinking of (street rods and custom fabrication), he loves it, so far he told me he has learned to prep and paint cars, fiberglass, build spoilers, and is currently learning to build frames.

so?

it's entirely possible to bore a LT1 over to a 396

or he could just buy a replacement engine that's a 396
