Anyone getting loud in a G35? Sedan/coupe

I always see SQ installs with them, but I dont think I've seen anyone really try to get loud with one. Just wondering because its on the list of cars I'm looking at to buy since they are pretty cheap.
IMO, it's stupid to try and get loud in that car, because you'll just kill it's performance, but if you have the money, go for it.

I almost bought a brand new G35 6spd coupe instead of my Saleen...it was about 15gs cheaper so I was really considering one...looking at the trunk I think a pair of DD 1508's would be awesome...now that you can get dash kits for them is a plus at the time it was a major pain in the *** to change decks....

I like to go against the grain :p, would a single beefy 10 or 12 do it? I DO want to get some Hertz comps for it eventually though if I get one, not fully SQ, but for those times I want to listen to my music without heavy bass

You dont see more expensive cars getting loud because it is typically more difficult to do. They are better built insulated etc that makes it more difficult.

Not that you wont be able to put a sub in and have it be loud to you other people but i dont see any way you will be winning any competitions

Not gonna do any competing, but I would like to get metered. This is very tempting because it seems no one has even tested the waters of getting loud with one other than people with beefy SQ substages that prob. wouldn't even turn it up forreal.

Later this year by the time I get whatever car I'm going ot get, I'm toying with the idea of buying a box chevy caprice, just to be different I think I'd install a SQ setup since EVERYONE with one aims to get loud(even though MANY are not) and nothing else lol

we did a 18" BTL in one just playing around at work in a guys car, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif one of my old BTLs off my old zx2500 in a half wall, took out the back seat, meant to get pics, sounded pretty good, coulda been louder, we didnt play with it much though

what a waste of a car

looked a a 05 today, coupe, black, had everything you could get on one, just a bit outta my range for a 4 yr old car, were asking $23,900, only had like 30k miles which is good for a 05 IMO, i could of talked them down a little, but still woulda been more than i wanted to pay

what do you need to know?

Installing the headunit is expensive.

Dash kit is $200 alone, wire harness is extra

Took me about 4 hours to install the head unit, im not a pro but im not new to this either, you have to take some old parts from the factory

headunit and such

if you are on a budget this is not the car you wanna buy.

You MUST run super unleaded, parts are expensive and any mods are priced high

I was looking at exhaust and the most decent priced was $800
