I've got an acura 3.5 rl....1999, and i cant seem to find a good ground for my cap in my trunk...at first i had my ground runnin from my trunk to under the back seats, but the 8 ga wire im usin to ground my cap was like 6 feet long. I decided it was wayy to long even tho i didnt notice any drop in preformance or my amp. But When i got my new box i decided to find a closer ground, and only was successful in finding a bolt that comes down from the top of the trunk.. im not sure what if it connected to the chassis or what, but it was workin for a while i thought, but on my ride home just now my amp was gettin weaker and weaker i could tell. I looked on the amp and it read that it was gettin 14.4 volts, but it sure dodnt sound like it was gettin 14.4 volts.......what do u think is wrong?? is anyone familiar wt my car and can you help me find a proper ground, if it sounds like the problem???
