bought one today off-line for $28.00 BNIB. Are they good?

Whats the dif in other brands?

Is XM radio, XM radio no matter what brand you purchase?

Yep, XM is XM since you have to subscribe to it.

Thats what I was thinking as well.

Didnt think the $200 one, would do any better than the $28 one. All the same to me.

my Pioneer is XM Ready. Not even sure what it means though.

was told XM was better and cheaper.

Suppose to be able to put my HU on a FM station and get the XM stations.

Is this how it works?

Works like shit, either use a hard wired fm mod or the aux in. Your headunit being xm ready means you can get the pioneer xm piece and integrate it with your unit, displays channels song and is controlled through your HU
