anyone ever replaced window switches with aftermarket ones?

im looking at getting these and putting em in the car

think that it will be hard?

i already have the wires relocated and the old switch working in the center console, but it seems like its on its way out.

any input?

Those look to be the wrong kind.You need the ones that return to center.I believe they are called momentary on switchs?Should work though.

You can go to local marine supply stores and get them. West Marine, Boater's World, etc. Home Depot and the like may even carry them.

i dont like the chrome ones though, i want black ones....

i fixed the stock one....it broke apart, but i was able to get all the contacts to snap back into place.
