or 3/4" MDF... ported or sealed?..

probably ported, my buddy has 2 of those subs in his fusion ported, and his bass is ridiculous way more than i would want, so i figure cut that power in half should be fine for me,

you got any blueprints..tips somethin thanks bro

I would do a single decent quality 10 or 12 sealed. It will get plenty loud for what im thinking you want. Hatchback FTMFW!
actually i would x2... specially if you never built a box before it will be easier to build a sealed right and it will sound great

If you want the box to take up the whole hatch, here is the general shape that you will need:

That box will fit two 15s if you wanted it to.

I built a 2 cube ported box for my gf's camaro for a single 12" with 150 watts. and it did a 135 on an epic-160 which i have found to only be off the TL round about 3-4db's. and its plenty loud for her

Get at me this summer and I'll show you how to put 4 18"s in a Camaro... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Theres a guy who put two 18s in already //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here is a question:

I already have two TC-1000s and an amp for them, and am getting a 99 Camaro... for those of you that have done the same idea here, did the subs make the hatch (coupe) rattle like crazy? If so I might sell it all and just go with a smaller single 10 system.
