Wondering if it is possible to change a 60/40 rear seat in a 2004 Silverado Crew to a 40/20/40? I want to build a custom sub box console for the 20. Any direction or pics greatly appreciated.

i thought about doing this in my avalanche. The process is very easy if you can work with metal, it just requires making some mounting brackets and a few extra bolts.

correct.

but mounting spots are a little off , nothing a few pieces of metal and a drill cant fix though.

I live on the North side. As for putting buckets in the back, I thought about it and am worried they will be too tall. Also buckets would cause me to loose 4-6 inches of width on the box. If anyone has any pick of this done b4 I would really like to see them. i also thought about replacing the center console up front, but dont really like the idea of sitting "on top" of the subs.

There's a shop near me that recommended removing the center console and building a new console that will house 1 12.
