I was wondering if it makes a difference if I build a sub box that fits under the deck lid of my trunk. The height below the deck lid is 13.5" but the rest of my trunk is 24" tall. So I want to build a box that slides 1/2 under the rear deck but then opens up to about 19" tall in the rest of the trunk.
I tried to illustrate it using Microsoft Paint, take a look and tell me I'm Crazy. My goal is just to add cubic feet and maximize space in my trunk. I want to build 2 of these boxes to get about 4 cubit feet per sub in a sealed enclosure for two 15" Kicker CVR's. I have to build 2 separate boxes or I won't be able to get them into my trunk if I build it as 1 solid box.
