Anyone eve try this concept for a 6th order series BP

Bose probably owns the patent on whatever bandpass you draw, lol. Look at this isobaric 6th order thingy, lol.

It could work man but not like you're suggesting, not like a waveguide. It's not the same as a horn acting as a transformer. This is a simply a resonance thing. In the end, though, you can achieve what you're hinting at by constantly tweaking the enclosure and measuring the impedance profile. Sounds like you're after a very benign impedance for the amp to easily control?

i think i just couldn't really explain what the point was. its definitely not a horn it not a transmission line waveguide. all it is is a chamber the correct size just build in a fashion that the waves have a "guided" pathway. when i said think of it as i thoat i was referring to thee idea that the rear chamber and front chamber ports SHOULDN'T affected by the shape of the enclosure.

your definitely going to get less cancellation internally from stray waves bouncing around in the enclosure and hitting the cone etc etc.

since its gilded all of the pressurized air has a defined pathway in a sense. i don't have a clue how well it will work but i thin it would sound fine.

that lil bose unit look like a double ported compound alignment lol.
Yep, lol.
I think they try to do the same thing, though. It's like any time those little cones might unload there's another vent waiting, tuned to that frequency. Just this crazy resonant thing that can eat up power.

**** I type ******. lol. you should see how my driver is placed in the trunk. i have the woofer closet to the trunk with the port about 8 inches away from it angled so it has a "pathway" in the cabin. its noticeably louder than any other position esp down low. you can fell the difference in the transfer It moves a lot more air into the cabin..

Not sure what your goal is but it wont be loud it will get low and sound smooth though.
id expect it to be about as loud as a normal ported box. Id hope at least. it could be a huge failure. ill probably try to do ti and plots impedance and output see what happens. its so huge though. F3 of 26 and its flat from 35 to 65 i'm interested to see if the enclosures shape helps.
