boring ass job? I work 3rd shift as a operator of a water treatment plant. Basically I watch some digital readouts and make sure everything runs smoothly. Usually I browse the forums, watch p0rn,play with my cawk, read the news, play dumb games on my phone etc.. to pass time. Being 3rd shift I'm responsible for keeping the building clean so I sweep a little and things like that..but mostly just a lot of sitting around bored out of my mind. Hence the reason for this thread. Anyone else have a boring job? What do you do to pass time? Discuss...

I used to have basically the same job. Me and one other person in a giant store. I bought a 3g usb adapter for my laptop and browsed the net for a few hours, as I only had 2-3 hours of work for a 9pm-5am shift. Cigarettes help make it **** less. Same with weed.

I kind of have a boring job, lets just say a job that you never want to see me....

I work 8-5, but only do about 2 hours of work. I kill time buy walking around, playing games on the phone, thinking about all the woman i want to fuc*, and sitting on the couch and trying not to fall asleep....

Yeah since I got my phone recently..I stay on it non stop browsing the web..helps pass the time a lot. Its a boring job, but it pays decent atleast.

You should be lucky just to have a job, even on this forum there are many that don't. But every once and awhile I go on the interwebz at work.

I work in the quality control area at the Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY. I am constantly moving around and driving cars all night long. Not much down time except when I'm in the pit doing wheel alignments and even then it's only about 30 seconds between cars.

But it's a good paying job and I get overtime every night so I'm not complaining.

Oh, I'm grateful that I'm employed! I'm not complaining about my job, just the boredom that gets to me sometimes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I know there are a lot of people that would love to have a job period, much less a job as easy as mine. In this small town, working for the City is one of the more desireable jobs out there so I really can't complain.

sounds easy,yet fast paced. I like that kind of work.keeps you busy yet doesn't work you to death. Keeping busy helps pass the time. Not a whole lot to do here except clean and little odds and ends, but there's only so much of that to go around.
