Anyone done the big three upgrade in a newer 4Runner?

I placed the order for my big three upgrade and I'm trying to find some tips before I get started next weekend. I will be working on a 2012 model. Looking at the 4Runner forum one guy started the upgrade and ended up calling it quits. Here is a link to his write up.

I'm hoping someone knows some shortcuts to this job.

Do you know how to test for good grounds?

All you need is

1. battery positive to alternator Fused

2. bat ground to chassis ground

3. engine ground to chassis ground.

you dont need to replace any wires. you are adding to existing.

you dont need to fuck with any of the cars fuse boxes.
