Anyone here have/had/or installed subs in a 5th gen prelude 1997-2002 i think are the years. I am looking at getting one for a DD, too many miles racking up on the evo and the expidition is a gas hog. My buddy said they have a small *** trunk and you can barley fit a 12 in there, let alone 15. My buddy had a 2002 prelude....The trunks are tiny in them. Plus if ur planning on some after market speakers for the rear deck have fun with the tension bars that hold the trunk up...they were in the way so I cut them out...downside is when opening the trunk you had to hold it up...could of made something to keep it up, but wasnt a big concern...The sub was a Type R 12 in a 2 cube box @ 35hz and it took a shit load of room up for just that.

Dang, I wanted to do a DD3515 in there... as long as I have the height for a 12 I guess thats ok, I dont need room for anything else in there, shit look at my old accord

Think I could get away with 3-4 cubes?

Or I could do a 3510.... hmm....

Maybe a odd box done...like bunch of angles and stuff to get that airspace.
