Anyone can estimate this rust removal?

ALright so i just bought a 98 grand prix with some rust along the bottom panl and rust through on a couple spots but only the bottow panel as circled in the pic the my car is all black. how much do you guys think it would be to repair this? just a rough estimate thanks!!!

Your talking about the very bottom piece correct? Would prob just be cheaper to have it patched than have the whole panel replaced. You would have to cut out the whole piece and weld the new on. They're not bolt on. How big are the holes?

WELL ones like 4inch in diameter but big chips are missing along the whole thing... any estimates? $300 $800 ???????

No one is going to be able to tell you, you can go to maaco and get an estimate or go to a good local guy who does quality work snad get charged $1000.

My suggestion is find out who does good body work in your area and go see them, the last thing you want it a hack job that is going to look like shit 6 months down the road.

I cant even begin to give you an exact price, different shops charge different prices. The biggest hole could prob just have a patch panel welded in and the smaller holes sound like they can just be filled. Prob most expensive part would be primer/paint on it. For the shop I work at, wouldnt be over a G, by a long shot,lol.

Agreed, def look into local shops. And SHOP around, all body shops are not the same. Lol, I would hit Maaco either, I've seen some HORRIBLE jobs come out of them.

I think he just wants the rocker panel. From what I've read, at least that looks like what's circled in the pic,lol.

if its a patch weld job id say youre pushing a grand after paint. could you get it all cut out and put on after market side skirts maybe?

yes rockers I was thinking after market side skirts to but my aunt works at ABRA auto body and glass so i'm gonna talk to her or look up someone on craigslist maybe if they seem like they do quality work

Something like that around here, would be about $250 + parts. So about $300-$350.
