I just bought a Mitsubishi 60735. Its a 60" DLP.

It looks ok at best.

I had A Westinghouse 47" before and it looked better

The mitsu needs calibrating but I dont know what im doing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Anyone near DFW know how to properly calibrate everything?

I dont mean just contrast/brightness/sharpness. I mean set the green/red/blue gains and saturation.

I tried but ....it doenst look that great.

If someone can help i will gladly pay them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Thats the $999 60" bestbuy had on black friday

If you read the reviews people say that cable on that tv looks like shit. I was looking at it but that wouldn't effect my purchase cause I watch alot of movies and not alot of TV.

It has the ability to adjust just about everything.

The tv just doenst look very ....high def.

The westinghouse tv I had before was a LCD and it looked way better.

Id really like to find someone to calibate it for me or help me out

I can acces the menus to calibrate but I dont understand what they mean

some of those I cannot acess on my tv

crutchfield sells the disc for you to diy, it's like 50 bux

the disc isnt the problem.

When I go into the advanced menu and just mess with stuff(which I know is not the correct way) every single number makes a diffrance and the numbers go from

0-66000

I need someone who knows what they are doing.

got everything set up and calibrated and man!!!

blu ray looks amazing.

Kung fu panda looks awesome.

I was actually smiling when I set everything and popped it in.

The guy who said this tv looked like shit......he needs to see it for him self

Im gonna say it rivals some properly calibrated projectors Ive seen set up

I tried to get some good pics but room was dark and auto flash was on
