Thinking about getting this to put in my wifes 07 suburban. Shouldn't take up as much room as a sub box and amp. Do you think this would be ample enough for a big suburban. I'm not looking for a ground pounding sub, just something a little extra to add to the factory bose system?* Or would you suggest something else? I think the bazooka sells for around $180-$200. One other possibility was a JL 10w1v24 with an* amp. If I go this route, what would you recommend for an amp.

I've never liked anything bazooka has made. For $200 you should be able to put together a decent little sub and amp combo.

A 10" type R with ~600 watts should make your wife pretty happy. It'll be bigger than the bazooka, but come on - you have a suburban.

I know I have a big suburban. But I also have 2 daughters in sports and we are constantly hauling gear, chairs ,etc in the back so I cant take up to much room. Plus if my wife sees that is going to take up a lot of space, she probably will not let me put anything in it.

I've run a 10" Bazooka in the GF's car and it did rather well actually. Added some clean bass and she was happy with it, but of course I gave her an upgrade to a 15" FI Q.

I still have the Bazooka for a good price if you're interested PM me...

The Bazooka tube is a good product. I've been using them for over 20 years and when space is needed, they work well.

I like to get used/blown ones off Ebay for $10~$40. than put a nice driver in them.

I did an 8" with a Boston woofer in a Miyata a few weeks back and it sounds real good.
