Anybody mess around with Diamond Audio D1's?

My roommate found a pair of Diamond Audio D1 10s for around 40 bucks and wanted a good bang for the buck sub-stage in his hatchback civic. I've never messed around with anything but the D6 so does anybody have experience?

good subs... sql will bang out pretty good for $40 that is a steal man.. mostly see them going for like 40-80$ a piece still.
