anybody know how to update their bios?

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif i have not had a floppy drive in a computer since the last mac i had like 10 years ago

Reflashing bios is not recommended unless it fixes a serious issue you are having at the moment!!! If you srcew up or soemthing screws up you may be buying a new mobo at the worst. Is there a specific reason you need to? Also, like someone said, most of the time newer mobo's will do it within windows, other than that the mobo has to support doing it from cd else you need floppy. Newer ones will take off from cd or maybe ever thumb drive.

BTW:Mobo=motherboard

well there are a few things that i'm hoping updating the bios will help fix. my usb ports aren't supporting 2.0 right now, plus the little "safely remove hardware" symbol stays in my tray even when no usb is connected. people were telling me that an update would probably fix these problems.

Hello sumone it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
a bios update ain't gonna give you usb 2.0...only new hardware; you need a usb2.0 controller. if you ain't got usb 2.0, you only have 1 controller. if you do have usb2.0, you have 3 (one controller that routes devices to either the usb1.1 controller or the usb2.0 controller).

my job here is done
