I am in my first programming class and I am stuck and I have an assignment due. I have a main program with 4 different functions. The main program is written and I have one function written, how do I run the compilier to have it run the first function to see if I have it correct, with out it trying to run the rest of the program?

I am using Visual Studio 2005

Any help would be appreciated

That is what I am saying...WTF?? Does what I wrote not make any sense?

Just place an output statement at the end of the first function that outputs the function's return variables.

Thats prolly the easiest way- that way you can run the program, pass the function its variables, then it will output the variable after it does whatever it is designed to do.

Or if you using global's simply output the variables after the function is called.

Dud3... all i can say is have fun!! I am taking this **** class along with Catia 3D modeling, Statistics, and good ole Organic Chemistry.. I am a FVUCKING WRECK!!

Lilmaniac2 what is your screen name? You have Yahoo or MSN Messenger?

Seriously though, if you want to understand wtf is going on, don't use that Visual Studios crap. It will just confuse you. Use a simple text editor like notepad instead.
