Thats how I do it too. I don't know how those pba guys use that freaking huge grip. They spin more with the fingers, I like using the whole wrist.

I've tried using that grip, I just can't do it very good. The type of grip I do it where you only put your index and middle finger in and your thumb is out to the side to support the ball when you are about to release.

I put too much spin if the ball is that lite lol. I need a good 12-14 lb ball.

sometimes i just bowl the ball straight and have butter luck that way, if i use that hook manuever it usually goes in the gutter near the end

5. If I was alot better at spares then I would have a much higher score. I either hit all of them or 8-9 of them.

onetime i remember i was bowling and i was usin a 10 pound ball and i guess i threw it to hard cuz it skipped over the gutter and into the other lane and it was a strike on that lane
