Thinking about buying a pair of the CX62's, porting them in a tower cabinet with a North Creek tweet. Just a simple TM design, KISS.

Just wondering what the general consesus about these are, they look really good for the price...

i have em running in my comp set. very potent midbass when installed correctly, love the 2ohm option. the only problem is the lack of a dustcap which is very annoying. big potential for debris getting in there and misaligning the vc. its happened to a number of people before, but if u can keep it clean then u'll be good.

I'm running the CX62 mids IB in my doors...non EQ'ed, pretty nice mid...not as powerful as the RE mid I ran before it, but this is a very nice mid IMO.

Yeah, but the RE mid isn't 91dB/1W, IIRC...maybe I'm wrong.

I need the high efficiency. Most likely I'd run them full range, rolling them off naturally on the low end, and running a single cap to the tweet for an Xover. Get can't away with anything more, too much wasted power.

I ran diff power levels and honestly can't tell you....but I love the CX62's...

I've sent an email to ID about this, but do you have an idea as to how big of an enclosure I should put these in, and what frequency I should tune it to?
