anybody have an H3 hummer or opinions ?

When it comes to Hummers, H1 (or decommissioned military) or nothing. Anything else is a pacified grocery-getter that can be replaced with something more practical.

well the bank will own it for 5 years
I know that's where car loans are going these days, but that's obnoxious. If you can't pay it off sooner, there's no reason you should bother, that's simply too much in interest.

they are running a 0.9 % for 60 months deal. but i'm wondering how much of the rebate is lost by going that route.

Are you sure about that? As of the end of last month, I see 2.9% on the Hummers...unless you've gotten confirmation of that, I'd be wary.
actually i just checked hummer.com for the .9%, but now i checked the hummer dealer where id be going web site and there site says 0% for 2009 h3s or 5k back. so id have to check the numbers on that. but here is the page.

Actually, my E-150 has a lower MPG average, and a larger tank //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

not that bad my car does not get much better.

I had a 95 Hummer and still have the 2007 H3. Just sold the H1 a few weeks ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and now the H3 is mine to play with. Eventhough it's based on another vehicle it can do some things other SUV's can't. One of the best things I like about it is the turning radius which is sharper than most cars out there. It's a nice ride and you can do some great off-road mods to it. I've been on the Hummer Network and Canadian Hummer Club for awhile. It's not about speed with these, it's all about torque and where you can take them

you cant take them anywhere besides the mall.

the h2s and h3s are useless offroad.

POS all around.

excluding the h1 but there are still vehicles much more capable then it.

Yes custom plates are nice to have! Just removed the step bars from the H3 and the roof bars yesterday.

Not sure what you mean by useless off-road. The HUMMER is the ultimate stock civillian off-roader. The H1 logo didn't start until GM bought the use of the name from AM Gereral. Check out http://www.humvee.net and you will see how off-road worthy they are.

As far as the H3, you can still do a lot of off-roading with it. Show me another OEM manual that has water fording and log crossing in there.

Bottom line buy what you can afford and like. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
