anybody had tilting face problems with Pioneer 6900UB?

I've had my 6900UB for over a year now and I love it. (same as 690UB )

Normally, when I turn the car off, the Pioneer beeps and the face tilts so you can remove.

Just yesterday, it beeped but the face was not moving. It wasnt even making any mechanical sounds at all. It would beep once and then silence - no more beeps or moving face.

I tried for about ten minutes, turning car on and off, with no luck. Tried going into options to make sure face tilt was on (and it was). tried ejecting a CD with no luck. I ended up leaving it alone, disappointed.

Today, the Pioneer works normal and tilts again, out of nowhere.

Anybody experienced this? I believe Pioneer has a 1 year warranty, and mine is like 13 months old.... (should have got the Premier with 2 year warranty)

not that i seen never even heard of anyone having that problem ive heard of broken rca bu not mechanical

so thats why the face place comes out like that haha. I always wondered why it did that.

Had the same problem with my old 780 (except for mine was stuck open and would no longer play)...broken drive mechanism...send it in to get fixed

yeah take it to a shop to get fixed once it stops. shouldn't cost more than 60 bucks.
