Anybody following tookie's story?

his sentence should be a cage match with arnold schwarzzenegger. or put them both in pods that shoot into an underground world where they must survive the attacks of freakishly creepy people while arnold has to wear a tight yellow suit with black stripes while tookie wears a blue one with a bandana pattern on it. the RUNNING MAN!!!!!

and i think living in a cell for the rest of your life is alot worse than death, if i was sentenced to life in san quintin id much rather get a lethal injection than live in a cage for the rest of my life

Would the Arnold of Predator grant someone clemency? Sure...with his knife //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
It's amazing to watch that movie and realize...yes, these are two men that were elected to public office //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
ya its a classic, ventura got pwnt by that laser so hard

i've actually been following this for about 2 years now. while i'll be the first person to admit that he should die for his crimes...he really has done some amazing things since he turned over his leaf. too bad the deciding factor for him was the fact that he would never see freedom again. this guy has fathered many gang truces, written many children's books, and was even nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize
You'd be amazed at the percentage of hardcore cons that manage to 'find God' or 'turn over a new leaf' or whatever else you'd like to call it when the realization comes crashing down upon them that likely they'll never see "outside" unsupervised ever again.
Do I think some of these people honestly have some change of heart and are truly repentant for the things they have done? Yes, I do. I'm not a completely cynical bastard who believes no one has the ability to change. I am enough of a realist, however, that I also believe that the percentage of people that claim having found a new life path compared to those that actually have done so is a pretty overwhelming difference.

oh i agree.....its just rare to find one who actually tried to atone for some of his misgivings.

Hmm, What do I think of this subject? Well... I would say that the negative revolution he caused far overwhelms the small impact he might have had in a positive sense.

And by that I mean, Think, This man founded the crips(I'm not even sure whether I should capitalize the C in crips). A gang that has been involved with sooo many Murders, Beatings, Robberies, And all kinds of other reckless acts of violence on innocent people.

O yea, He also wrote a couple books.... Give me a break.

Now whether I think he should get the death penalty or not. I'm not really sure. I mean, Life in prison is ALOT worse than being spared the agony of waking up in prison having to watch your back everyday for the rest of his life. I don't care which one he gets, Atleast he'll never be on the streets again.
